The Leading Edge is a one-year program offered through the Centre for Leadership, an initiative of the Joondalup Learning Precinct: Edith Cowan University, WA Police Academy and West Coast TAFE.

Management training and coaching, one-on-one or groups, facilitation, conflict resolution, team building, speaking and motivational sessions, consulting on people problems and managing difficult people and challenging situations. Produce manuals such as an on-site resource to assist Project Managers in dealing with the people working on their teams.

Murdoch Business School offers undergraduate and MBA units in entrepreneurship and innovation. Undergraduates can undertake a major in entrepreneurship and innovation. Both the undergraduate major and the MBA unit, take an applied learning approach for students opportunities to develop skills for business venturing.

With campuses at Armadale, Balga, Bentley, Carlisle, Midland and Thornlie, Swan TAFE is the largest apprentice and traineeship institution in Western Australia. Swan TAFE delivers training in over 250 qualifications across the six campuses. Swan training is delivered to more than 30,000 students annually. Areas include civil and mechanical engineering, instrumentation and control, laboratory skills and science, and management and marketing.

West Coast TAFE's Commerce and Technology Division tailors training to assist businesses grow. An Industry Advisory Board comprised of business leaders, senior members of local business associations and Government representatives, guides best practice and relevant training and established pathways with Western Australia's leading universities allowing graduates to progress through to degree qualifications.
